Are you Like Me?
Are you like me?Do we all have a blanket of protection that we hide behind, hoping that no one will ever see what we really looked like? Do you ever hide behind a smile, a frown, a closed door, a bed of tears?
Are you like me?
Do you know what you think, what you feel? Can you identify it, label it and explain it, or do you feel and think never sure why?
Are you like me?
Do you know that something is wrong in the world but somehow add to it, become a part of it, or are you standing and making a difference?
Are you like me?
Do you ever feel so weak that you can't stand, and don't even want to?
Are you like me?
Have you ever pushed everyone away not sure how to pull them back?
Are you like me?
Do you make mistakes and get angry at yourself for it, do you have trouble forgiving others? Can you forgive yourself? Can you tell anyone but yourself that they are loved and accepted, that God would never give up on them?
Are you like me and get tired of being so weak? Do you wish you could be different, be bold, be strong, be like your hero?
Are you like me and wonder if we "do" Christianity in a way that was never intended?
