Casino!? - Maple Ridge Times
There is talk of a casino in Maple Ridge. What do you think about that?What do you think about trustee Dave Rempel saying 'Vdovine's recommendation was well intentioned, the school board should not take a stand because it doesn't fall within the board's mandate'.
What do we need to do to stand in our personal convictions for the bettering of the community around us?

This whole idea of a casino is a so stupid! I can't believe our mayor actually suggested this. He wants to spend money and waste space for a place for gamblers to go and waste their money. I think it's just an excuse he's using to get a casino for him to use. There are very few people in MR that want a casino. A more popular want(or need) for MR is a Walmart or Cosco or another big box store so we don't have to travel so far.
Anyways, that's my take on this casino business.
AHH IT MAKES ME SO MAD!
